Over a thousand Granite Staters crowded a field at the home of David Baum and Terry Reeves in Peterborough, united in their belief that Americans deserve better than the divisive, slash-and-burn politics of the past two decades. Barack affirmed for the crowd that a single voice can change everything.
Phillip, a Petersborough resident, was inspired by Barack’s message. He liked that Barack doesn’t pander to audiences. “This is the mark of a real leader,” Phillip said, “and his willingness to go to Detroit to urge automakers to raise mileage standards is one important example.”
Nerina and David from Fitzwilliam have been following Barack’s campaign for months, but only saw him speak in person for the first time today. “He is so genuine when he speaks,” said Nerina.
She was inspired when Barack spoke of the need for Americans to believe in their own ability to change politics for the better.
